Simon Gruar - Head Honcho & Artist

Simon is the artist behind the business. As with most creative people his flair for drawing and painting was discovered and nurtured from an early age. Simon went on to defer after completing his first year of a Graphic Design degree and went on to complete an apprenticeship in the Sign Industry. Through his sampling of different mediums, he eventually discovered the airbrush and then progressed into custom automotive. From this he found a real passion and desire to work with the automotive paints, the magic pearls, flakes and candy’s offered infinite ways of producing artwork and effects that couldn’t be produced using the classic mediums. 

Over time he has applied his artwork to almost every conceivable canvas, from automotive to fine art and everything in between. Simon believes that airbrushing isn’t just about photo reproduction - although it’s a very impressive skill to have, it is also important to have great design skills and create a healthy combination of airbrushing, graphics and special effects.

Simon’s desire to form new concepts and experiment creating his own unique style has only made him more enthusiastic to impress his customers.
